Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 29, 2026

Deadlift AI helps you review exercise technique from workout videos. This policy explains what information we process, why we process it, and the choices available to you. You do not need to create a named account.

Information we process

  • Workout videos, the selected exercise, requested analysis window, and selected language.
  • Analysis results, request status, scan counts, and app and paywall interactions.
  • Anonymous installation, subscription, attribution, and device identifiers.
  • Purchase and subscription status, product, price, currency, and entitlements. We do not receive full payment-card details.
  • Device type, operating system, app version, approximate IP-derived region, and diagnostic events.
  • Your email address and message content if you contact support.

How workout videos are handled

Videos selected for analysis are uploaded over an encrypted connection to private cloud storage, processed by our backend, and sent to Google Gemini for the requested analysis. The uploaded video and temporary processing copies are scheduled for deletion when the analysis completes or fails. A video may remain temporarily if automated cleanup fails while we investigate or retry deletion. The app may also keep the video and its thumbnail on your device so you can view scan history.

Why we process information

We use this information to deliver video analysis, display local scan history, manage purchases and subscriptions, provide one free analysis and prevent abuse, measure attribution and performance, diagnose failures, secure the service, respond to requests, and comply with legal obligations.

Service providers

We use Supabase for cloud storage and service data; Google Gemini for AI video analysis; RevenueCat for subscriptions and entitlements; Superwall for paywalls and paywall analytics; AppsFlyer for install and marketing attribution; Google Play and Apple App Store for distribution and payments; and hosting providers for backend operation. We do not sell personal information or use workout videos for face recognition, biometric identification, or training our own AI models.

Retention

Uploaded videos are deleted after analysis completes or fails, subject to temporary retention for reliability, security, or cleanup recovery. Analysis records, anonymous identifiers, entitlements, and transaction records are retained as reasonably necessary to provide the service, prevent abuse, maintain financial or legal records, and resolve disputes. Local history remains until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall the app.

How to request data deletion

  1. In the app, open Profile > Settings > Delete Account Data to remove local history and videos stored on the device.
  2. To request deletion of associated backend and provider records, email deadliftai@gmail.com with the subject “Deadlift AI data deletion request” and include your installation or RevenueCat identifier if available.

We will confirm the request and delete records we can associate with you. We may ask for limited information needed to locate the data. Some transaction, security, or fraud-prevention records may be retained where legally required or necessary to protect the service.

Security, children, and changes

We use encrypted connections and reasonable access controls. Deadlift AI is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy when the app or law changes and will publish the revised date here.
